According to Xionggu,The mainline of Shanxi-Beijing 1st pipeline (Shaanxi-Beijing first line) starts from the first station in Jingbian, Shaanxi Province and ends at the end of Yamen station in Shijingshan District, Beijing. The mainline is about 846 km in length, 660 mm in diameter, 64 MPa in pressure and 3 billion m3/a in capacity. It was completed and put into operation in 1997.
The mainline of Shanxi-Beijing 2nd pipeline (Shanxi-Beijing second line) starts from the first station in Jingbian, Shaanxi Province, and ends at the last station in Tongzhou, Tongzhou District, Beijing, with a length of about 980 km, a diameter of 1016 mm, pressure of 10 MPa and capacity of 17 billion m3/a. It was completed and put into operation in 2005.
The mainline of Shanxi-Beijing 3rd pipeline (Shanxi-Beijing third line) starts from Yulin First Station in Shanxi Province and ends at Xishatun Terminal Station in Changping District of Beijing. It is roughly parallel to Shanxi-Beijing second line, with a length of about 1000km, a diameter of 1016mm, pressure of 10MPa, and capacity of 15 billion m3/a. It was completed and put into operation at the end of 2013.
Root pass by cellulose stick welding, STT & RMD welding and filling & capping by self-shielding welding in Shanxi-Beijing 1st 2nd 3rd pipeline projects. Xionggu MPS-500 welding machine and cellulose welding machine have been applied since 1st pipeline. Performance and reliability of Xionggu welding machine have been acknowledged by EPC contractors. There are more than 3000 pcs of Xionggu welding machine which have been applied.
Mainline of Shanxi-Beijing Shanxi-Beijing 4th pipeline starts from the first station in Jingbian, Shaanxi Province and ends at the end of Gaoliying Station in Shunyi District, Beijing, with a length of about 1098 km, a diameter of 1219 mm, pressure of 12 MPa and capacity of 25 billion m3/a. It was completed and put into operation on November 28, 2017. In addition to semi-automatic welding, automatic welding has been applied. There are 4 pcs of Xionggu A-810/48 internal welding machines and 36 pcs of Xionggu A-610 dual torch automatic external welding machines have been applied. Performance and reliability of Xionggu welding machine have been acknowledged by EPC contractors.
